A TRIP TO JANDA BAIK

Last Sunday, AmiChin and his family took my family, my cousins and Hafiy's friends to a place called Janda Baik. We started our journey around 5 o'clock in the evening by three cars from Bukit Jelutong. The journey to this village area in Pahang took us about one and a half hours to reach.

We were welcomed to the ‘Aman Rimba' by the owner, Encik Sabri and his wife with cucumber juice and ‘rojak'. He gave us a brief explanation about the three acres place. His nephew, Abang Razi took us on a tour around the place. We were so amazed with the scenery. At night, we had our dinner. the steamboat we had was really good. Later, we celeberated Ilham's birthday. We watch a cartoon movie called ‘Ratatouille' while the boys played football on table. That night the boys slept in a tent inside The Aman Rimba compound while Kak Alyaa and me slept in their chalet with my father and Bang Fiq.

The next morning after Subuh, we went for a walk around the Janda Baik area around 7.15 a.m. to 8 a.m. . The scenery was amazing. W can even see Genting Highlands from here. After the morning walk, we had a game. We are supposed to interview our partner during breakfast and remember the details. My partner was Ilham. After breakfast, we were asked about our partner's details. All the girls got all correct and get one point for the girls team. Later, we changed our clothes and went for swimming in the swimming pool. We had an enjoyable time in the pool. We went for swimming in the river. The river water was refreshing and very cooling. At 1.30 p.m. we had our lunch. After that, most of us went to sleep in the chalet, but Hasanah and I went to play football on table and basketball with the boys. We watched the boys fishing in the pond. Hasanah and Hafiy each caught a fish. We let go the fish back because it was too small. I took a lot of pictures while at the pond. We swam again at about 5 o'clock in the evening . We had a spaghetti and steak for dinner. Bang Fiq, Kak Alyaa and me had a surprised anniversary cake for our parents that night. It was a new york cheese cake. We had a fun time karaoke at the dining area. That night all the boys slept in the ‘rumah panjang' so all the girls slept in the boys chalet.

On the last day, we woke up early and pack our bags. We cleared up the room and gather at the dining area. AmiChin gave us a speech. Hasanah and Danial gave their speech to represent each others group. All of us took some pictures and left Janda Baik. Amichin, his family and the boys started their journey to Bukit Jelutong while my family, my cousins and me head for Genting Highlands. I had a wonderful holiday there. Thanks to AmiChin.
